The Asian luxury cruise line Dream Cruises has revealed visualizations and more details on its upcoming Global Class ships. Over 340m long and 45m wide vessels with 2500 cabins are designed for worldwide cruising and especially for the rapidly growing Chinese cruise market.
These cruise ships will utilize artificial intelligence with facial and voice recognition for most services onboard and robots will perform simple tasks, which allow the crew to focus on hospitality. With facial and voice recognition, there will be minimal queuing for boarding, disembarking and payments.
The first cruise ship is scheduled for completion at the end of 2020 and its sister ship at the end of 2021. Kudos is responsible for the interior design of all the passenger cabins and suites, VIP indoor and outdoor areas and crew cabins. The steel cutting ceremony of the first Global Class ship was held in March.
